Water Outages This Week

As you may be aware, Apartment 1N, located in the building basement is under renovation.  It was brought to our attention that pipes that run along the ceiling of 1N need to be replaced. These pipes specifically service the G – H – I – J lines of apartments. This was a pressing issue and therefore is being addressed as soon as possible.

The coop has hired a contractor to replace these pipes. The work is scheduled to begin this Tuesday, September 3rd and is expected to last until Friday, September 6th.

Tuesday September 3rd

• the building-wide hot water system will be shut down from 9:30am until 4:30pm

• the cold water supply to just the G – H – I – J line of apartments will also be shut down

Wednesday-Friday (September 4th-6th)

• the hot and cold water will be shut down from 9:30am until 4:30pm to just the G – H – I – J apartments

Water service will be restored at the end of each day

Please plan accordingly and reach out with any questions or concerns. Water will be available in the basement and there is also a working toilet in the basement if that is a concern during those shutdown hours.
