New Management Company: Argo

Dear shareholders,
We are pleased to announce that our new building management company beginning July 1 will be Argo Management.
After months of research, discussion, and negotiations, we have determined that Argo is the best fit for the management of our building and can provide the best services to residents. There will be many enhancements in the services we receive from Argo, including:
The option for paperless bills and digital payments (written checks will continue to be an option, using a building dropbox Argo will provide)
Clearer month-to-month accounting to allow for improved transparency in financial reporting
Access to Concierge Plus, a digital tool for streamlined communication with management
Argo has over 70 years of experience managing cooperative buildings in New York City, and they know our neighborhood well; they also manage 60 Pineapple and 200 Hicks Street, among others. A dedicated building manager, whom we’ve begun coordinating with, will visit 59 Pineapple a minimum of once a week.
The transition will take place over the month of June. You can expect to hear from Argo directly in the coming weeks: they will send an intro letter soon, and new maintenance bills will be mailed in the middle of the month. And you will have an opportunity to hear more from Argo and ask questions at our Annual Meeting, tentatively scheduled for July 7. (Formal communication on the Annual Meeting will be forthcoming in the coming days. And remember, if you’re interested in running for the board, email us your name, a short bio, and apartment number.)
We thank you for your patience during this transition period, as well as for your feedback. We look forward to supporting you during this transition, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.
